Training
WeST offers training to faculty, staff, and graduate students for web site maintenance and basic web site design as it aids their teaching, learning, professional or research missions at Duke. Technical training takes the form of one-on-one, desk side sessions as this is the most effective way to adapt to individual learning styles and project specific questions.
Training consists of the following software and practices:
Basic web design principles.
Dreamweaver (Web design and maintenance)
Contribute (Web maintenance)
Viewflash (survey tool)
University Calendar and MCal (events calendaring tools)
FDS News (news and events tool)
