Types of Service for Web Design and Development

There are three main types of service:

Full site design and implementation

We work with the client to design the structure and navigation for the site, paying careful attention to the information architecture as well as usability. Once a design is chosen, the coding of the home page, banners, graphics, and templates for various sections of the site get underway. We work with the client to support transfer of content to the "wire frame" and provide desk-side training to staff who will be providing on-going maintenance of the new site.

Consultation

We provide consultation to departmental and third-party web design and development staff, on the expansion, redesign or maintenance of current sites. We support troubleshooting of existing sites. Additionally, we provide training in the use of Dreamweaver, Contribute and other content maintenance tools.

À la carte

Smaller-scale work, such as designing a single banner, or a specific graphic or menu, is done on a time-available basis.
