The Friends of the Duke University Libraries Award is given annually to one Duke undergraduate student to support summer research in libraries, archives, or museums.  The student selected to receive the award will have proposed a research project in a specific library (archive, museum) and explained the relevance/necessity of the institution’s collection for his/her research.

The amount of the Friends Award is $750.

A student receiving the Friends Award may also receive other funding up to a total of $2500, which is the maximum award offered through the Trinity Deans’ Summer Research Fellowship.
