Program II: Faculty Advisor
The Program II advisor fulfills an advisory and an administrative role in Program II. He/she must be a faculty member in Trinity College and hold a faculty position in the department most closely associated with your program of study. When appropriate, you may also designate a second faculty member in any University department as a co-advisor.
Program II advisors get to know their advisees well and often become mentors to them. The benefits to both, when this occurs, can be far-reaching and long-lasting. The relationship begins with the important initial collaboration between the student and advisor(s) in the design of a strong and unique curriculum for the student's Program II proposal.
The primary advisor has responsibility for providing the PIN needed for registration and for approving program changes.
