Synopsis of course content
This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of the theoretical and experimental principles underlying the application of optical spectroscopy (absorption, fluorescence and scattering) in biological and biomedical engineering. Approximately 50% of the lectures are devoted to theory and 50% devoted to experimental technique and data interpretation.
