Synopsis of course content
This course in modern standard Arabic is designed to introduce the student in the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in the language of the Arab world. The course is proficiency-based, i.e.,it aims to place the student in the context of the native-speaking
environment. The primary course material is Allen and Allouche's "Let's Learn Arabic", supplemented by the use of audio and video selections.
