Synopsis of course content
This course will consist of a series of weekly seminars by the leading Duke scientists (and a few from other universities) who study various aspects of global environmental change. The topics will include climate change, biodiversity, earth surface alteration, the ocean's role in climate change, water and carbon cycling and anthropogenic alterations, sea-level rise, soil erosion, energy and material resources, and public policy.
