Synopsis of course content
This course is the first in the introductory sequence of Latin. We will study the basic grammar and vocabulary of the language and translate simple texts. The goal of the sequence of courses is to prepare you to read the texts and documents of Latin-speaking culture, which flourished for over 2000 years, from archaic Rome to Renaissance Europe.
