Synopsis of course content
This course takes a multidisciplinary, developmental science, perspective on human development across the life span and focuses on how biological and psychosocial processes act together in normal and disordered development. Clinical case material, in the form of video tapes, involving chronic childhood illnesses, eating disorders, depression, and dementia are utilized to illustrate processes and issues. AREA: Biological, Developmental and Personality. Course is a Social Science.
