Focus on detailed biological mechanisms underlying specific behaviors in many organisms, especially mammals. Synopsis of course content
Topics covered include historical roots of neuroscience, plasticity and development of neural circuits and behavior, sensory and motor systems, emotion, motivation, representation of time and space, learning, decision making, and disorders of the brain.
