Synopsis of course content
This course provides an introduction to the language of Ancient Greece for the purpose of reading and appreciating the literature of ancient Greece and its culture. Simple readings will accompany learning of grammar from the beginning, and by the end of the first year of study, students should be ready to read original texts in classical Greek.
