Prerequisites
For students studying the natural sciences or engineering. Students studying the life sciences may prefer to enroll in PHY 54L.

Prerequisites: PHY 51L or equivalent; MTH 32 or equivalent.


Synopsis of course content
The second half of a two-semester course designed to provide a quantitative survey at the introductory level of the basic principles of classical physics. Topics in this course: elctromagnetism; circuits; optics.
