Synopsis of course content
An indepth study of the key events throughout the Earth's history that have shaped the evolution, distribution, and extinction of animals and plants. The effects of biotic and abiotic factors upon the evolution of new body plans in both animals and plants. Additional topics will include the Cambrian Explosion, the Ordovician Radiation, adaptive radiations, terrestrialization, and the causes and effects of mass extinctions.
