About OUSF

OUSF was founded in 1998 to consolidate the administrative efforts of Duke’s major merit undergraduate scholarship programs and to serve as the hub of Duke’s advising and selection process for post matriculation national and international honors.

Director Melissa Malouf commented on the spirit of OUSF in a speech in 2001 that there is a sense of hope among our community of scholars that anything is possible....In April of 2000

The office located in Room B209 Smith Warehouse is a place for Duke students to learn about opportunities after Duke and for current scholars to meet, study and learn. Thursday afternoons at 4pm you will find many of us gathered over homemade brownies chatting about courses, roommates, tenting, and summer opportunities.
