Arts & Sciences comprises some 2,600 faculty, staff, and nonfaculty researchers who provide outstanding education and professional training for undergraduate and graduate students.
Of the nearly 600 faculty members in 2004, 27 percent were women and 19 percent ethnic or racial minorities.
