IT Security

In conjunction with the Duke IT Security Office, the A&SIST Security team provides the following services:

• Educates users and systems administrators regarding IT security issues
• Patches Windows and Mac operating systems and applications
• Monitors A&S servers for security events
• Assesses A&S servers for vulnerabilities
• Analyses user account password strength
• Manages response to security incidents
• Provides consultation for special needs
