CPPAS Purchasing Page

This is the temporary site for CPPAS purchasing. Listed below are the current standard CPPAS configurations for Windows and Macintosh machines - with links to pdf files giving details of each configuration - along with ordering instructions.

Windows and Linux

Desktop: Dell Optiplex 755 Small Minitower

Macintosh

Desktop: iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 20"

Ordering instructions

Until the A&SIST Purchasing Portal is in place, orders will only be accepted from IT staff members. If you would like to place an order, please contact your departmental IT staff. IT staff can place orders using the purchasing request web form.

For those wish to place CPPAS orders for custom configurations, the current amounts that CPPAS will pay toward computers for faculty and staff members are listed below; the recipient will be responsible for costs above these amounts.

* A&SIST will be setting aside, from CPPAS funds, an additional $60 on each Mac desktop and $120 on each Mac laptop to fund the required 4th year of warranty coverage, since AppleCare only provides a 3 year warranty
