Purchasing
A&SIST can order computers, software, and peripherals for faculty and staff in Arts & Sciences. We will install, configure, inventory, track, and deliver all items purchased. Purchases can be charged to departmental or grant funds.
To ensure effective support, we strongly advise consulting your departmental IT staff when planning purchases, especially of non-standard computers, as well as of printers, scanners, PDAs, iPods, or any software not on the A&SIST supported software list.
New computers are purchased for eligible faculty and staff every four years from A&SIST funds through the Computer Purchasing Program for Arts & Sciences (CPPAS). A&SIST has developed standard configurations and discounted pricing for CPPAS computers.
If you would like to place an order, or request consultation prior to placing one, please fill out the help request form. (Your request will be routed to your departmental IT staff.) At the moment, orders are only being accepted from IT staff members, who can place orders using the purchasing request web form.
